Fort Worth Gunshow 06.23.18

We attended the Fort Worth Gunshow this weekend and it was, as it usually turns out to be, a very large display of the best the local dealers have to offer. We showed up early, as we normally do, and Bwana didn’t even get in into the show before he managed to sell the Browning Lever action .22 he was looking to get rid of. I’m not kidding, it took less than 3 minutes before a nice gentleman had purchased it from us and we had to join the non-gun carrying attendee line to get into the show. With that business out of the way, we went in to enjoy the festivities.

Among the many wares at the show, I saw some very well done CNC style carving on a couple of Ruger 10/22 rifles that I think I need to try my hand at doing myself. The eagle and wild hog were excellent but the snake version (not pictured above because, like an idiot, I forgot to take a picture of it) that featured a ‘don’t tread on me’ theme made me completely envious and regretful I wasn’t in the market for a .22 rifle – perhaps one day soon.
